Paulson Kalu, also known as Paulson Kalu – Afrikhanah, hails from Akanu Ohafia in Abia State, Nigeria. His illustrious music career began with the Martin Brothers Dance Band and included notable stints in Erasmus Jenewari’s band and Stephen Osadebe’s band, who became his mentor. Kalu later founded the Africana Dance Band in Onitsha, gaining fame for his philosophical and thought-provoking Igbo highlife songs.
